In recent years there has been a huge resurgence of prophetic worship ministry. It seems that, in Charismatic circles, every worship leader or worship team has developed some form or hybrid of the “Tabernacle of David” style worship with modern contemporary influence, and there is nothing wrong with that at all. Davidic worship is amazing and very necessary for building and encouraging the people of the Kingdom of God through music, creativity, spontaneous, and prophetic worship. I have noticed, however, a general lack of training on what prophecy is, and even less training on New Covenant prophecy. My intention here is to correct that with as much brevity as possible.
